Holy Jim Falls Hike 10-26-2008

It seems that Space Dragons cannot sit still during the off season. On Sunday we completed a 15.19 mile hike that took us from the dusty orange county valley through beautiful tunnels formed naturally by dense bushes and trees, to the still trickling Holy Jim Falls, along the county divide line for breathtaking views or Lake Perris and Lake Elsinore in Riverside County and also the hills of Orange County and all the way out to Catalina Island floating in the fog. It was a very challenging hike with over 2700’ in vertical ascent, mini rock slides and, kamikaze bikers!
